9/9/16 – Sea Box, Inc., of East Riverton, NJ has been awarded a $32 Million General Services Administration (GSA) contract to provide the United States Air Force (USAF) with 86 Containerized Hygiene Systems over the next two years. This is Sea Box’s second contract for Hygiene Systems with the USAF.
Each fully containerized system consists of 4 insulated and temperature controlled ISO certified expandable shelters and 1 ISO certified storage container. It is comprised of 2 Latrine Containers, 2 Shower Containers, and 1 Supply Container. Each Shower Container provides 6 shower stalls, 6 sinks with internal water heaters, mirrors, shelving, benches and towel hooks. Each Latrine Container provides 6 toilet stalls, 4 urinals, and 2 sinks with mirrors and shelving. Energy-efficient LED lighting and low flow water fixtures are installed throughout. The Supply Container includes a connectivity kit with all the hoses, pumps, electrical cables, and environmental control connections necessary to give it plug & play capability with the military’s Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) Program. These hygiene systems can be transported worldwide utilizing standard military handling equipment. A team of 4 individuals can set up the entire system in less than 4 hours, and take it down in approximately 2 hours.
