Innovation with an Eye Towards the Environment
Sustainability in Unlikely Places
Since the start of 2020, Sea Box has completed multiple projects with an eye towards environmental sustainability.
Recently, (4) - 20’ custom shipping containers were delivered to Brooklyn, New York to be used as an oyster farm. The endeavor is a partnership between the Billion Oyster Project and the Brooklyn Container Port. Their aim is to revive vital marine habitats and restore a nearly extinct oyster population while simultaneously improving New York Harbor's water quality.
Currently, on the manufacturing floor, Sea Box is constructing several Mass Energy Storage containers. These highly modified, steel ISO boxes, once delivered, will be used to store and distribute electricity generated from renewable energy sources.
Even coming from the most unlikeliest of places, we all have the opportunity to make this world better!
If you need it in a box, you truly need it in a SEA BOX!
