SEA BOX WORKS WITH BAYLOR GLOBAL INITIATIVES & BAYLOR COLLEGE OF MEDICINE TO FIGHT EBOLA.
Modified shipping containers and intermodal shelters are solving logistical problems that have confounded medical outreach programs for decades.
How? State of the art construction technology paired with the flexibility of the intermodal system!
In collaboration with the talented team from #BCMHouston and Baylor Global Initiatives, Sea Box Inc. recently delivered a Rapid Response Containerized Medical System (RR-CMS). This system is comprised of three expandable bicon shelters and is outfitted with the latest in medical and engineering technology.
In this case, Function Followed Form. The base element of this project remained the container and its ability to meet globally accepted transportation requirements. From there, it was all about outfitting that element with the best of today’s medical technology.
That’s where Sea Box excels – bespoke container modifications. The engineering team at Sea Box took Baylor’s considerations and manufactured concept into reality. Leveraging the efficiencies of the globally accepted transportation system, the finished product is a rapidly deployable medical facility with the sole purpose of saving lives.
For modifications big and small – Sea Box Inc. has the experience to attain exceptional results to exacting standards.
